Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic Region!
Formerly National Capital Area, Mid-Atlantic serves Washington, D.C.; Maryland; and Northern Virginia. In 2020 LLS invested $1.3 million locally towards research, we reached 1,690 households through education & outreach and connected 629 patients with support services.
If you or a loved one are experiencing a blood cancer diagnosis, or post-treatment effects, you are not alone. The Mid-Atlantic staff is here to help and encourage you to join our community when you are ready.
In addition to getting support from our Patient & Community Outreach team, there are many fundraising campaigns to get involved in when you are ready!
Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program for high school students. Congratulations to the Class of 2021 who finished their campaign this March! We are now recruiting for 2022.

Light The Night walks are an amazing celebration of light to drive out the darkness of cancer. With family & friend teams as well as corporate teams, we gather for an outdoor evening to honor and remember those touched by cancer.
